Asset allocation decisions are then seamlessly implemented on our multi-manager platform and ongoing investment reviews ensure that the strategy remains on track.
By taking over the responsibility for the time-consuming tasks of manager selection, rebalancing and consolidated reporting, implemented consulting has helped our clients to concentrate on the decisions which matter most – their investment objectives, and the asset allocations to meet them.
The implemented service builds on our traditional asset consulting services by adding many features including:

- Active manager configuration
- Manager appointments and terminations
- Active performance management
- Mandate/portfolio compliance monitoring

- Unit pricing services (to daily prices)
- Daily portfolio re-balancing
In February 2012, MLC Implemented Consulting (MLC IC) and JANA Implemented Consulting (JANA IC) combined to establish a ‘best of breed’ institutional consulting business. It became the largest implemented consulting business in Australia, with combined clients under advice of some $25 billion. The joint implemented consulting team was consolidated under the JANA brand.
