Long Short Strategy – the best of both worlds
JANA believes that by allowing managers to back their judgment by investing ‘long’ in stocks they believe offer superior value and ‘short’ in stocks they believe are overpriced can provide superior results regardless of the overall direction of the market. Further JANA believes that blending high quality managers with complementary styles can produce higher and more consistent longer term returns than a single manager approach.
By leveraging its strong institutional presence and large fund manager research team, JANA has developed a product that allows retail investors access to high quality managers, some of whom are not available directly to retail investors.
