Direct Investment Unit

JANA’s Direct Investment Unit (DIU) was established in 2006 to source and assess unlisted investment opportunities for JANA’s clients.

DIU leverages JANA’s strong research capability to identify investments that are expected to complement traditional asset classes. It offers clients another opportunity for diversification, while seeking to generate superior returns.

To date the Direct Investment Unit has facilitated over $3 billion worth of investments, including airports, ports, utilities, student accommodation and Public-Private-Partnerships.
